What’s In My Cart
Since purchasing our first home all I want to do is buy things for it. But given that we just spent a bunch of money on a house, we are in saving mode right now, well I’m supposed to be 😬. So here’s what’s in my cart along with some things we have purchased lately.
-Those down alternative pillow inserts are amazing and so comfy! I was getting sick of feathers coming out of our down inserts despite how many different brands I tried so I’ve started making the switch to down alternative and I’m sold! They are so soft a squishy and it’s the only pillow I curl up with on the sofa now so I definitely need to order more.
-We just received that black pendant a few days ago and just need to hang it! I’ll update this once it’s hung but the price can’t be beat and the matte black finish looks nice. I purchased these bulbs for it.
-The checkered table cloth is still in my cart. The colors look great and I was actually considering turning them into curtain panels. It comes in a 52”x102” among other sizes.
-I’m going to be doing painted beadboard wainscotting in Lila’s room and this beadboard wallpaper is much more affordable than the real thing and apparently looks the same. It’s in my cart until we finalize that project.
-That little brass pendant light has a similar look to this deVol one but for much less! The reviews are mixed but you can always easily return it with Amazon. It’s sitting in my cart waiting for the green light from my husband.
-I’ve been into Korean cooking videos and they cook with these types of spoons a lot and I love it. Just received them a few weeks ago and the “clear” finish is the way to go. They’ve also been holding up in the dishwasher so far which I probably shouldn’t put them in there but it’s so much easier.
-These woven wood Roman shades have amazing reviews! From the review pictures, the “eastfield ash” color looks nice, not orange or anything but still warm. You send them custom measurements down to the 1/8th inch.
-I just purchased more of these bottle brushes. Redecker is a good brand and these last for a while if you take care of them.
-I was so surprised at how nice these curtains were! We bought them for our new house about a month ago. They have a pretty linen look and the off white is a really nice warm white. They look so pretty and that price can’t be beat! Two panels for $37?!? Amazing.
-I wanted the IKEA bookshelves but they’ve been out of stock for long and then I found these bookshelves instead! Great price and they look the same! Sooo easy to put together too.
-This tissue box cover is in my cart. It looks so nice and I’ve seen many people raving about it on Instagram. Great price too!
-Now this little brass picture frame is a bit pricy for the size but oh my goodness it’s so cute! I want it for Lila’s room but it’s still in my cart.
